Emergency personnel from the Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) rushed three people to the hospital Sunday night after a motor vehicle accident at Bexon, Castries.
SLFS Communications Officer Stacy Joseph said one fire appliance and two ambulances responded after receiving an emergency call at about 9:15 p.m.
On arrival, the emergency crews found a group of bystanders and three accident victims.
Joseph said the vehicle driver, sitting at the roadside, had trauma to the head and body.
Joseph also disclosed that two vehicle passengers had minor abrasions and were complaining of body pains.
The SLFS responders provided emergency medical treatment and transported the three patients to the OKEU Hospital for further care.
