Saint Lucians To Pay Less For LPG 100 Pound Cylinder, More For Diesel

The Public is hereby notified that in keeping with changes in international oil prices and Government’s application of the modified market pass-through petroleum pricing mechanism, the retail price of Diesel, the LPG 100 lb cylinder and the Bulk (Wholesale) LPG has changed.

The retail price of Gasoline, Kerosene, the LPG 20 lb and 22 lb cylinders remains unchanged. The price changes take effect from Monday, October 30th, 2023.

  • Gasoline remains unchanged at $3.63 per litre or $16.50 per gallon.
  • Kerosene remains unchanged at $2.78 per litre or $12.63 per gallon.
  • Diesel increased from $3.57 per litre or $16.25 per gallon to $3.63 per litre or $16.50 per gallon.

The 20 lb Cylinder (9.07kg) is being subsidized at $19.03 per cylinder and the 22 lb cylinder (9.98kg) is being subsidized at $20.93 per cylinder.

  • 20 Pound Cylinder (9.07 kg) remains unchanged at $39.30 per cylinder.
  • 22 Pound Cylinder (9.98 kg) remains unchanged at $43.22 per cylinder.
  • 100 Pound Cylinder (45.36kg) decreased from $303.53 to $291.61 per cylinder.
  • Bulk (Wholesale) LPG decreased from $2.91 per pound to $2.79 per

The Public is informed that the next adjustment of the retail price of fuel products will be on Monday, November 20, 2023.

  1. Since y’all placed the 2.5% health and security tax on people (I don’t have an issue with), y’all need to remove the 2.5% tax that Chas placed on gasoline. To us, every penny counts.

  2. @ The crow i love this. The 2.5 % levy was consequentially that of Chasnette’s behaviour. Finantial squandering of state funds of hundred of millions will always have a pay back.
    Now is all are we filling it. In government we always require prudent management.

    And he is planning protest against his own actions.
