Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre has alerted the public to a fake social media profile in his name.
Pierre posted the alert on his Facebook page, urging people to disregard the fake profile.
“Please note that there is a profile in my name messaging and adding contacts. Please do not accept any friend requests or private messages in my name,” the Saint Lucia Prime Minister warned.
He also alerted the public to a fake letter bearing his name and soliciting money.
“Please do not fall prey to these schemes. Thank you for bringing this nuisance to my attention. Have a great day,” the PM’s post said.
