Hours after a man identified as Omar Francis, alias ‘Kodak’, was shot dead in Bexon on Saturday at about 9:45 pm, police are investigating another shooting incident in Vieux Fort.
On Sunday at about 6:40 am, officers attached to the Vieux Fort station responded to a report that a man was shot at West Hall Group.
According to reports, the victim sustained injuries to his torso and was admitted to a medical facility.
There are no further details at present.

Vieux Fort South is well designed by it’s MP Kenny D Anthony. Can you imagine a MP who is PM with all the respect from his cabinet making such a mess with his constituency? A supposedly well-educated individual. In his early years as a MP of Vfort South he, in my opinion, deliberately ignored the parents of these criminals today. Crime is too politicized, while our country with all of us in it, is going down the drain. If it is allowed to continue in this trend, we may one day find ourselves governed by armed gangs. The police is definitely making an effort but the rest of us are too complacent. The cops need our help to locate the guns to get ‘em off the streets. We can do so unanimously. “Where there’s a will, there is a way.”We need to invest all our resources to protect our borders, amend our laws and strengthen our police force. We may even need an army to assist the police force. The free movement of people among those islands, causes a greater burden on our limited capabilities. I remain a strong opponent of it as well as CIP. We need to think out of the box.
