Government Extends Condolences To Richardson, St. Hill Families

Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre, on behalf of the Government of Saint Lucia, extends sympathies to the families of two exemplary public servants who dedicated their lives to serving Saint Lucia.

We remember and honour Mr. Cosmos Richardson, who, from 2007 to 2012, served as Cabinet Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister.

He was also a former Ambassador to the United Nations.

His work left an indelible mark on the Public Service. Mr. Richardson’s service to his country will not be forgotten and we hold his memory in high regard.

We are also saddened by the passing of Mr. Cyprian Felix St. Hill. During his tenure in the Public Service he served as Permanent Secretary across various ministries.

He retired in 2021 as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health. We will always be grateful for Mr. St. Hill’s dedication to his work as a public servant.

These two remarkable individuals contributed significantly to Saint Lucia’s Public Service and the impact of their contributions will be felt for years to come.

We send our condolences to their families as we say farewell. We hope that during this trying time, they find solace in the memory of their loved ones.

May the service and legacy of Mr. Richardson and Mr. St. Hill inspire us all in the years to come.
