Saint Lucia police are investigating two homicides that occurred at Babonneau and Vieux Fort.
In Babonneau, at about 10:20 pm on Sunday, a resident reported the discovery of a body at Paix Bouche with severe lacerations to the face and body.
The deceased has so far been identified only as ‘Français’.
Initial reports suggested he might be a French national.
Police are also investigating a fatal shooting on Monday near the post office in Vieux Fort.
There has yet to be an official identification of the deceased.
So far in 2024, Saint Lucia has recorded 26 homicides.

There are security companies that are hiring people in the south but the young men do not want to go and work for 3 to 5 EC dollars an hour working 12 to 18 hour shifts . Which I think is a good start until something better come
