Saint Lucia Fire Service (SLFS) personnel rushed a man to a medical facility on Monday after he sustained a stab wound to the knee area inflicted by a known individual.
An SLFS release disclosed that the incident occurred at ‘a popular hotel’ in Saint Lucia’s north.
A Gros Islet Fire Station crew responded after receiving a call for help at about 11:15 pm.
On arrival, the emergency personnel found the 33-year-old hotel worker had a penetrating wound above his left knee.
The responders treated the injury and transported him to a medical facility for further care.
