Mabouya Boys Stay Winning After Dennery Derby

Just one fixture was played this past weekend, in the sixth round of the second stage of the Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) Inc Under-12 Boys’ Primary School District League.

Mabouya Valley played Dennery at the Technical Centre in Grande Riviere, Dennery on Sunday.

The neighbouring communities have had some memorable battles at the senior and youth levels, but this time, it was the lads from La Ressource, Aux Lyons, Despinoze, Trou Halhal, Gadette, and Grande Ravine claiming the 1-0 win.

That victory was their sixth on the trot, as they remain the only unbeaten team in the competition, with their title hopes becoming more evident with each game.

Central Castries failed to show up in their encounter against Roseau Valley, who won by default.

Mabouya Valley top the standings with 18 points, followed by Vieux Fort South on 10 points, Desruisseaux and Canaries holding nine, just above Roseau Valley on eight. Central Castries and Mon Repos, seven points apiece, are joint sixth. Dennery, Anse La Raye, and Gros Islet round out the table.
