The Saint Lucia Chamber of Commerce has announced a change in leadership.
Nicholas Barnard, Managing Director of St. Lucia Linen Services Ltd, has been elected President, succeeding Ross Gardner, Managing Director of Carasco & Son.
Barnard previously served as Vice President under Gardner, who did not seek re-election after completing two terms.
The Chamber serves as a vital representative and advocate for businesses, offering networking and growth opportunities while helping to shape economic policy and community development. Under its new leadership, the Chamber will work closely with key stakeholders, including the government, to ensure a safe, fair, and effective business environment.
The new Board of Directors of the Chamber:

- 1st Vice President – Eldris Mauricette, Island Manager, Tropical Shipping
- 2nd Vice President – Jason King, Chief Financial Officer, St. Lucia Distillers Group of Companies
- Immediate Past President – Ross Gardner, Managing Director, Carasco & Son
- Director – Cheryl Renwick, Managing Director, Renwick and Company
- Director – Gidden Augustin, Managing Director, IslandTEK
- Director – Rankin Morgan, Managing Director, 123 Digital Limited
- Director – Leathon Khan, Chairman, Agostini Insurance
- Director – Kelly Mitchell, Divisional Head, Massy Stores
- Director – Ellen Antoine, General Manager, Caribbean Metals
- Director – Arletta Rate-Mitchel, General Manager, Sagicor Finance
The Board is expected to hold its first meeting on Thursday.
