Let me begin by saying RIP – thank God for justice – however
I hate to say this but most of this generation have a different mindset (which is bent on self destruction) – I might also add that they want to be relevant and fit it by any means necessary. In addition, they want to live large with designer items without working an honest job like normal people do. Parents need to teach their children to not align themselves with negative individuals who are going nowhere very fast.
I remember growing up in St. Lucia and focusing on my school work to the best of my ability. My classmates would call me fresh because I did not engage. But I always remembered what my parents told us “stay away from bad company” — I am thankful that they did – for surely staying to myself has definitely worked in my favor. I went on to obtain both Bachelor and Masters degrees and I currently reside outside of St. Lucia where I am employed in the clinical healthcare industry – thank God.
Some of these young men want to impress and some of the women who entertain them are just as bad. Women find yourself a legitimate job – “Rome was not built in a day” It is certainly a crying shame and when you live on the fast lane – you will definitely suffer the consequences. Karma also knows the address of everyone – we all reap as we sow every time and all the time. Godspeed
