The Saint Lucia Football Association Inc. recognising the negative impact of Violence on our society and footballers at large, agreed to undertake an Anti Violence Project under the hash tag “Shoot to Score Not to Kill” which would contribute to the efforts being made to stem the increase of Violence in Saint Lucia.
On that basis, the Anti Violence Project, “Shoot to Score Not to Kill” was created and will be launched on Saturday 1st April at Cap Maison.
The Project which is being co ordinated by Wilcom is also being sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Development and Sport and the Oliver Gobat Sports Fund
Expected to be present at the Launch is the Hon. Minister of Sports, Kenson Casimir, and representatives from his Ministry, a delegation from the SLFA Inc. led by President Lyndon Cooper himself inclusive of representatives of the 19 Football Leagues.
The Ollie Gobat Foundation will also be in attendance, spearheaded by Dad Theo Gobat, Mum Helen Gobat and son Rufus Gobat.
The invitees will include members of the Media and specially invited personnel.
